The People's Choice Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1976 with the intent to financially benefit Schott Optical employees. The credit union location was within the facility, granted by the management of Schott Optical which today is known as Schott North America.
On April 1, 1999, the Credit Union moved across the street to the Schott Glass Technologies, Inc. newly purchased Topp's Chewing Gum manufacturing facility at 401 York Avenue, Duryea.
